Paris is implementing street lighting supervision

The Laboratory for street equipments of Paris is installing SINOVIA-EcoDev, a solution of intelligent remote management of street lighting in 3 streets of the 13rd district.

Street Lighting of the Kellermann, Cacheux and Longues Raies streets will be tested through voltage dimming according to the type of lamp and area (pedestrian or truck driver zone) in order to optimize consumed power.

Paris wish thus valid on 30 lighting points the possibilities of energy savings with the point by point solution of supervision of Sinovia. Enrolled in a sustainable approach, the city also wants to optimize the maintenance of its lighting park.

The pilot has been deployed at the end of December 2008 and first dimming tests will be made at the beginning of the year.
